Terms of Service

Biztory NV ("Biztory", "we", "us", "our")

1. Acceptance

By installing, activating, or using the Autom8 Tableau Extension ("the Software"), you ("Customer", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are acting on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Software.

2. Description of the Software

Autom8 is a commercial Tableau Extension that allows dashboard viewers to trigger n8n webhook workflows from within a Tableau dashboard. Configuration is performed by a dashboard author ("Creator"); execution is available to dashboard viewers ("Viewers").

3. License Grant

Subject to payment of applicable fees and compliance with these Terms, Biztory grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to:

  • Install and use the Software within your Tableau environment;

  • Allow Viewers to use the Software up to the limit defined in your license plan.

This license is granted per license key. A license key may not be shared across unrelated organisations.

4. License Keys and Viewer Limits

4.1 Activation. The Software requires a valid license key issued by Biztory. License keys are tied to the purchasing organisation and must not be redistributed.

4.2 Viewer limits. Each license plan specifies a maximum number of unique monthly Viewers. A Viewer is counted once within any rolling 30-day window. Exceeding this limit will prevent additional Viewers from activating the Software until capacity becomes available.

4.3 Validity. License keys may carry an expiry date. On expiry, the Software will no longer function until the license is renewed.

4.4 Grace period. The Software may continue to operate for up to 72 hours if the Biztory licensing service is temporarily unreachable, using a locally cached validation token.

5. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software;

  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the Software;

  • Remove or obscure any proprietary notices in the Software;

  • Use the Software in any way that violates applicable law;

  • Attempt to circumvent license key validation or viewer limit enforcement;

  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer rights to the Software to third parties without Biztory's written consent.

6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1 Webhook security. The Software sends Tableau data directly from the viewer's browser to the n8n webhook URL you configure. You are solely responsible for the security, availability, and data handling of that webhook endpoint and the systems downstream of it.

6.2 Data sent to webhooks. You are responsible for ensuring that any Tableau data transmitted through the Software to your webhook complies with applicable laws, including data protection law, and with any obligations you have to your own end users.

6.3 Access control. You are responsible for ensuring that the Software is only made available to Viewers who are authorised to trigger the configured workflows and to whom the associated data may be disclosed.

7. Intellectual Property

The Software and all related materials are the exclusive property of Biztory NV. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Biztory.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BIZTORY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. BIZTORY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BIZTORY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF BIZTORY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

BIZTORY'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU TO BIZTORY IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Term and Termination

10.1 These Terms remain in effect for the duration of your license subscription.

10.2 Biztory may terminate or suspend your license with immediate effect if you breach any provision of these Terms.

10.3 Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy any locally cached license tokens.

11. Changes to These Terms

Biztory reserves the right to update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the customer portal or by email to the address associated with your account. Continued use of the Software after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Belgium.
