With Autom8, Tableau dashboards can be made actionable in no time. Autom8 connects your dashboard’s data and insights to any tool, platform, or API and drives the next action seamlessly. The elaborate insights we have built for years, become more tangible than ever.
How does Autom8 work?
Autom8 is mainly a Tableau Dashboard Extension. Add the Extension to your dashboard, wire it up with the n8n node, and you're ready to use your dashboard's data in n8n however you wish! There are no limits to how it can be used as of then. We call this an “Autom8 Action”.
Next to that, Autom8 can be connected to a dashboard without the Extension, polling the data regularly. When a certain condition is met, the workflow is triggered. This is in contrast to the action aspect, because no human interaction is needed in this case. We refer to this as an “Autom8 Alert”, and it’s quite similar to the concept of a data alert.
